Hello, thank you for checking out my blog. Allow me to give you a little introduction.
I am a college student. I attend a school in the Northeastern United States. I probably won’t mention its name outright (actually, I may have already, but whatever), though you could probably figure it out if you really wanted to.
I am into a lot of things. I am a Jazz bass player, animal person, Linux user, renewable energy enthusiast, pyromaniac, sort of artsy, and overall a bit crazy. You’ll see. I post pretty much whatever I feel like here; thus far it has been a lot of pictures of my cats, but there are other pictures too. I’m trying to get in the habit of posting tips and tricks for various things (mostly Linux-related) here, such that perhaps some people can save a bit of time searching.
If you must know, politically I am some sort of liberal-libertarian. I generally don’t talk about it here, though, as politics has a tendency to bring out bad things (I hesitate to use ‘the worst’ but I guess that could be true too) in people. It’s not that I think people shouldn’t talk about it, it’s just that I don’t want my site to turn into some kind of political circus. Not that I get enough real humans commenting to risk that, thus bringing me to my final point…
I don’t get a lot of people commenting here, though sometimes it seems someone finds their way here through a search engine or the like. However, I do get a lot of spam. I used to moderate the comments manually, but there got to be too much spam, so I looked into other means. I now use the akismet plugin for WordPress, which intelligently picks out spam comments. So far it seems to run well; every once in a while I check it to make sure it doesn’t brand a legitimate comment as spam, though. So if you comment and your comment doesn’t appear for a while, I appologize in advance.

If you can’t turn that into a real Email address, I’m just going to assume you’re a script.
